Turntables & Work Positioners

Turntables and carousels that bring every side of the load to the operator instead of walking around it.

Turntables & Positioners

Turntables and Carousels for Assembly, Packing, and Palletizing

Every time an operator walks around a pallet or reaches across a bench to get at the far side of a part, the job slows down and the back takes the strain. A turntable turns the load instead, so the work comes to the person standing in one spot.

This collection covers manual carousels in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, heavy-duty king pin carousels, bench-top and pedestal turntables, small powered turntables, powered carousels for pallets, turntables with powered height adjustment, and a pallet cart that doubles as a carousel.

Manual or Powered, Bench or Floor

Choosing

Manual or Powered, Bench or Floor

Manual carousels suit most loading, packing, and inspection work. The steel manual carousels stand just 2 inches high, rotate a full 360 degrees on sealed ball bearings, and come in 2,000, 4,000, and 6,000 lb capacities, low enough to sit on a floor, a workbench, or a scissor table. Aluminum mini carousels cover lighter loads from 500 to 750 lb.

Powered units suit repetitive or heavy rotation. Small powered turntables handle 100 to 750 lb at fixed speeds of 2 to 3.5 RPM, stand-alone powered carousels rotate pallets from 3,000 to 4,000 lb at 3 to 12 RPM depending on model, and turntables with powered height adjustment raise the work from about 27 to 43 inches. Tell us the load, the footprint, and where it sits, and we will size it.

Applications

Where Turntables Earn Their Space

Palletizing and Depalletizing

Powered and manual carousels turn a pallet so it is built or broken down from one standing position.

Assembly and Inspection

Bench-top and pedestal turntables bring every side of a part within reach without lifting or repositioning it.

Packaging Lines

Carousels on the floor or a scissor table rotate product during loading, wrapping, and packing.

Built In

Details That Matter on the Floor

Low Profile

Manual carousels in steel and stainless steel are 2 inches high, and the low-profile powered carousel can be reached with a fork truck or, with the optional ramp, a pallet truck.

Locks and Brakes

Steel manual carousels use hand- or foot-operated locking detents, and king pin carousels offer optional brakes and detents.

Handles Off-Center Loads

King pin carousels tolerate off-set loading up to 50 percent of capacity on at least 50 percent of the deck.

Send us the load weight, its footprint, and where the turntable will sit.

We will match a manual or powered unit to the job and quote it.

Rotation Plus Working Height

Rotation Plus Working Height

Turntables with powered height adjustment pair manual 360 degree rotation with DC linear actuators, run from a hand-held pendant on a coil cord.

They carry a uniform 750 lb in 18, 24, and 30 inch diameters, on 24V power with onboard chargers.

Cart and Carousel in One

Cart and Carousel in One

The CC-48 carries a 2,000 lb load to where it is needed. Pull the pin on the casters and the 48 inch deck turns by hand, so a pallet is unloaded from one position.

A removable handle opens the deck from any side.

Frequently Asked Questions

Start with the heaviest load and its footprint. Diameters in this collection run from about 12 inches to 50 inches on the low-profile powered carousel, and capacities from 100 to 6,000 lb. Send us the load weight, dimensions, and whether it is centered.
Manual carousels suit intermittent turning during packing or loading. Powered units make sense for continuous or repetitive rotation, heavy pallets, or when the operator's hands need to stay on the work.
Yes. The steel, stainless steel, and aluminum manual carousels can be placed on a workbench, a scissor table, or the floor. Tell us the table's top size and capacity so we can confirm the fit.
The small powered turntables and the powered carousels run on standard 115V single-phase power. The height-adjustable turntables run on 24V with onboard chargers.
The low-profile powered carousel is low enough for a fork truck, and an optional approach ramp allows pallet truck access. Certain stand-alone powered carousels also have fork pockets for moving the unit.
