Industrial Plastic Shelving

Polymer shelving that holds heavy loads and will not rust in wet, damp, or washdown areas.

Plastic Shelving

Industrial Plastic Shelving for Wet, Damp, and Washdown Areas

Chrome and painted wire shelving rusts and flakes in coolers, washdown rooms, and anywhere that gets cleaned often. Polymer shelving does not. The shelves and posts hold their finish in damp conditions, and the shelf mats lift out so they can be washed instead of wiped around.

This collection is one plastic shelving line in two families. The polymer system is the heavier one, with polymer construction and stainless steel corner reinforcement. The hybrid system combines plastic shelf mats with coated wire shelf frames and rust-proof posts. Both come as stationary units and as mobile carts.

Polymer or Hybrid

Choosing a System

Polymer or Hybrid

Stationary polymer units hold up to 2,000 lb per unit, with shelf capacities up to 1,000 lb on 24 to 48 inch lengths and 750 lb on 54 inch and longer, evenly distributed. Shelves and posts on the polymer system carry a lifetime warranty against corrosion. Stationary hybrid units also hold up to 2,000 lb per unit, with a 25-year warranty on shelves against rust and corrosion and a lifetime warranty on posts.

On the mobile side, polymer carts carry 750 lb and hybrid carts carry up to 900 lb. Tell us what goes on the shelves, how wet the room is, and the footprint you have, and we will recommend the system, shelf sizes, and mat style.

Where It Goes

Common Plastic Shelving Setups

Coolers and Damp Rooms

Rust-proof posts and polymer shelf mats stand up to condensation and regular cleaning without rusting or flaking, which is where metal shelving wears out first.

Washdown and Sanitation

Shelf mats lift out and go through a sink or dish machine, and the open-grid mats let air move around stored product.

Mobile Staging

Mobile units roll on four casters, two swivel and two swivel with brake, to move stock between prep, storage, and use.

Built In

What the Design Gives You

1 Inch Adjustment

Shelves adjust in 1 inch increments along grooved, numbered posts, and the hybrid system uses a patented corner release for tool-free repositioning.

Removable Mats

Shelf mats with Microban antimicrobial product protection lift out for washing by hand or machine. Open-grid and solid mat options are offered.

Heavy Capacity

Stationary units in both families hold up to 2,000 lb per unit, so plastic does not mean giving up load capacity.

Send us the room, the footprint, and what goes on the shelves.

We will recommend the polymer or hybrid system, lay out the units and shelf sizes, and quote them.

Shelving That Can Be Cleaned Properly

Shelving That Can Be Cleaned Properly

The mats come out of the shelf frame and go into a sink or commercial dish machine, then drop back in.

That is the difference between a shelf that gets washed and a shelf that gets wiped around the product sitting on it.

Take It Mobile

Take It Mobile

Mobile units roll on four casters, two swivel and two swivel with brake, and use the same adjustable shelves as the stationary units.

Load a cart where product is prepped and roll it to where it is stored or used.

Frequently Asked Questions

The polymer system is the strongest plastic shelving in the line, all polymer with stainless steel corner reinforcement. The hybrid system pairs plastic shelf mats with coated wire shelf frames and rust-proof posts. Both hold up to 2,000 lb per stationary unit.
On stationary polymer units, shelves hold up to 1,000 lb on 24 to 48 inch lengths and 750 lb on 54 inch and longer lengths, evenly distributed, with up to 2,000 lb per unit. Tell us your heaviest load and we will size the shelves.
Yes. The mats lift out of the frame and can be washed by hand or in a commercial dish machine.
Open-grid mats let air circulate and drain, which suits coolers and wet product. Solid mats, offered up to 60 inches on polymer mobile units, contain spills. We can quote either.
Lead time is quoted per order, based on the units, sizes, and quantities you choose.
