Woven Wire Partition System

Tool Crib & Secure Storage Cages

A tool crib gives you a locked, accountable home for the equipment and inventory that walks off when it is left in the open. Built from a woven wire partition system, these cages create a secure room inside your facility for tools, spare parts, janitorial supplies, PPE, and any high-value stock that needs controlled access.

Because the walls are open mesh rather than solid, light, HVAC, and fire suppression all pass straight through. You get the security of a locked room without blocking sprinklers, choking airflow, or hiding what is inside from a quick visual count.

Built From Stock Panels, Sized to Your Space

How It Works

Built From Stock Panels, Sized to Your Space

Twenty standard partition panels are stocked, 1 foot to 10 feet wide in 1-foot increments, in 4-foot and 5-foot heights. Panels stack to build cribs 8, 10, or 12 feet high, and the same panels work for both walls and ceilings, so the enclosure goes together consistently from floor to roof.

Panels bolt to the support posts with standard hand tools, no specialized equipment or welding on site. Hinged, double-hinged, sliding, and vertical-rise doors are stocked for 48-hour shipping, and custom sizes are available when a stock layout will not fit the space you have.

Applications

Where Tool Cribs Are Used

Maintenance & MRO

Keep hand tools, power tools, and spare parts in one accountable location so shifts check equipment in and out instead of hunting for it or replacing what disappeared.

High-Value Inventory

Electronics, controlled stock, and expensive components stay behind a locked mesh wall with a clear audit trail of who had access and when.

Facilities & Janitorial

Chemicals, PPE, and supplies stay organized and restricted to trained staff, without building out a dedicated storage room.

Why a Tool Crib

Lock it down without walling it off

Full Ventilation

Open mesh lets light, HVAC, and fire suppression pass through, so a locked crib never blocks sprinkler coverage or airflow.

Access Control

Equip the entry with proximity readers, card readers, or keypads to manage exactly who reaches the tools and stock inside.

Any Panel Material

Woven wire, welded wire, expanded metal, clear polycarbonate, or solid sheet metal, mixed to match your security and visibility needs.

Secure Storage, Fully Accountable

Secure Storage, Fully Accountable

Wire partitions turn any corner of your floor into secure storage for equipment, inventory, janitorial supplies, and high-value items. The enclosure is customizable to your exact footprint and can be fitted with proximity readers, card readers, or keypads so entry is controlled and logged.

Because access runs through a single managed door, a tool crib gives supervisors a clear line of accountability. Staff check items in and out through one point instead of pulling from open shelving, which is what stops shrinkage before it starts.

Woven, Welded, and More

Woven, Welded, and More

The standard mesh is 2 inch by 1 inch woven wire, but the same enclosure can be built from welded wire, expanded metal, clear polycarbonate, or solid sheet metal. Polycarbonate keeps stored items visible for quick counts, while sheet metal gives full visual concealment for sensitive stock.

Mesh types and materials mix within a single crib, so you can run clear panels where you want visibility and solid panels where you want privacy. The panel spec is tailored to the security and visibility level each area actually needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Chain-link sags, is easy to cut, and looks temporary. The woven wire partition system uses fully framed wire mesh panels that bolt together into a rigid, permanent enclosure with hardware that is inaccessible from the outside.
No. The open mesh design lets light, HVAC airflow, and fire suppression pass straight through the walls and ceiling, so a locked crib keeps your existing coverage.
Stock 4-foot and 5-foot panels stack to build cribs 8, 10, or 12 feet high. Taller and custom configurations are available when needed.
Yes. Entry doors can be fitted with proximity readers, card readers, or keypads, so access is limited to trained or authorized staff with a record of entry.
