This Privacy Policy explains how Deluxe Systems, a division of W.T. Hight Company, Inc. ("Deluxe Systems," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit deluxesystems.com, request a quote, place an order, or otherwise interact with us.

By using this site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We are a business-to-business supplier of material handling and warehouse storage equipment. Most of what we do involves quoting engineered systems to commercial customers rather than selling to consumers.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Quote and contact requests. Name, company name, job title, email address, phone number, shipping and job site address, and whatever project details you choose to include, such as loads, dimensions, ceiling heights, throughput goals, and timelines.
  • Orders. Billing and shipping address, contact details, purchase order numbers, and delivery instructions.
  • Payment information. Card and payment details are collected and processed by our payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
  • Accounts and forms. Login credentials if you create an account, and information you submit through our wholesale registration, B2B registration, or tax exemption forms, including resale or exemption certificate numbers.
  • Correspondence. Records of emails, calls, and messages between you and our team.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data. IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent, and the actions you take on the site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 5.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from our e-commerce platform, payment processors, freight carriers, and business partners in connection with fulfilling your order or quote.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Prepare quotes, layouts, capacities, and drawings for the systems you ask about
  • Process, fulfill, ship, and invoice orders
  • Communicate with you about quotes, orders, freight, lead times, and service issues
  • Verify tax exemption and wholesale eligibility
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the site
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Send marketing communications where you have opted in or where permitted by law, which you can stop at any time
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers. Our e-commerce platform (Shopify), hosting, email, analytics, and customer support providers, who process information on our behalf and under contract.
  • Payment processors. To authorize and settle payments.
  • Freight carriers and installers. LTL and truckload carriers, delivery agents, and installation subcontractors receive the delivery contact and address information needed to complete your shipment.
  • Manufacturers and suppliers. Where an item ships directly from a manufacturer, that manufacturer receives the shipping information needed to fulfill the order.
  • Professional advisors. Accountants, auditors, insurers, and attorneys, where reasonably necessary.
  • Legal and safety. Where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. Cookies and tracking

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your cart and session, understand how the site is used, and measure the performance of our marketing.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may prevent parts of the site, including the cart and quote request flow, from working correctly.

Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to Do Not Track browser signals, we do not currently respond to them.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to satisfy our legal, tax, warranty, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations. Quote, order, and project records are typically retained for the life of the equipment warranty and any applicable statutory period, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

7. Your choices and rights

You may:

  • Ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete information, subject to records we are required or permitted to keep
  • Opt out of marketing email at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or by contacting us. Transactional messages about a quote or an order are not marketing and will continue.

California residents. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, the right to request deletion or correction, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@deluxesystems.com or 1-800-445-4082. We will verify your request before acting on it, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site sells commercial and industrial equipment and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party sites

Our site links to manufacturer sites, specification sheets, and other third-party resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their policies before providing information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the "last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
