Forklift attachments mount to the forks or carriage of a standard forklift and extend what it can handle beyond a bare pallet on bare forks, fork extensions for longer or wider loads, coil rams for steel and paper rolls, lifting tongs and clamps for specialty loads that don't sit on a pallet, spreader beams for wide or unbalanced freight, and tie-down clamps for securing a load in transit. Most bolt or slide onto forks already in use; none of it requires a different truck.
The buying decision comes down to what the standard fork setup can't do on its own, a load that overhangs the forks, a coil with no pallet under it, a drum that needs to stay upright, or freight that needs to be strapped down before it moves. Every attachment here is rated for a specific capacity and has to be matched to the forklift's rated load, not just bolted on and assumed to work.
