Heavy-cover Conveyor Belt with a 1/4" Top (5-3831 / 5-4831)

5-4831 is a 4-ply, 440 PIW conveyor belt with a 1/4" top and 1/16" bottom cover for heavy abrasive service. The tough synthetic carcass supports rock, ore, and aggregate conveying as well as industrial elevator duty.

• 4-ply polyester/nylon carcass rated at 440 PIW working tension
• 1/4" smooth top cover, 1/16" smooth bottom cover
• High-strength synthetic carcass for low stretch and long wear
• Less than 4% elongation under load
• Troughable, 65a hardness, stocked at 96" width
• Working temperature -20 to 250 degrees F
• Minimum pulley diameter 24" at over 80% tension, 16" for tails and snubs
• Compatible with Super Screw 105 SBR mechanical lacing
