Lab & Cleanroom Carts

Stainless and polymer carts that move samples, glassware, and instruments and clean up easily.

Lab & Cleanroom Carts

Lab and Cleanroom Carts in Stainless Steel and Polymer

A lab cart has to do two jobs: move samples, glassware, and equipment safely, and stand up to the cleaning and chemicals of the room it works in. The material decides most of that, so this collection is built around stainless steel and corrosion-resistant polymer rather than painted steel.

It covers stainless utility carts in Type 304 and Type 316, polymer lab utility carts, HPLC carts that take analytical equipment off the bench, glassware basket carts, a carboy caddy, and mobile workstations for research, sample collection, and documentation.

Type 304, Type 316, or Polymer

Material

Type 304, Type 316, or Polymer

Type 304 stainless carts, including the Grade A Pharma Cart, have all-stainless shelves, corners, and posts built to handle regular sterilization and are fully cart-washable. Type 316 carts use 316 stainless solid shelves for resistance to chlorides and harsh chemicals, on 304 stainless posts, with raised shelf edges to contain spills.

The polymer carts carry a lifetime warranty against corrosion. Tell us what the cart carries, what chemicals and cleaning it sees, and whether it goes through a cart washer, and we will match the material and configuration.

Built In

Details That Matter in a Lab

Solid, Wipeable Shelves

Solid shelves on the stainless and polymer carts catch spills and wipe down clean, and the glassware cart's bottom shelf lifts out for cleaning.

Adjustable Shelf Heights

Type 316 stainless carts adjust in 1 inch increments, so shelf spacing fits the equipment instead of the other way around.

Casters for the Job

Cart-washable polyurethane casters on the 316 carts, 5 inch casters on the 304 carts, and total-guard casters on the lab utility carts.

Send us what the cart carries and the room it works in.

We will match the material, shelf layout, and casters to your process and quote the carts.

Get Instruments Off the Bench

Polymer HPLC carts put chromatography and other analytical equipment on a mobile cart, freeing crowded bench space.

Five-shelf models run four solid shelves and one open-grid shelf on 74 inch posts, and tote boxes can be added as bottom storage or as a drawer on an undershelf slide.

A Workstation That Moves

A Workstation That Moves

The compact carts pair a standing-height work surface with drawers, shelves, and bins on aluminum uprights and a hybrid metal and polymer base.

Configurations include a 62 inch research cart, a 50 inch sample collection cart, a 50 inch data center crash cart, and a 38 inch laptop cart.

Frequently Asked Questions

Type 304 suits most lab and cleanroom work and handles regular sterilization. Type 316 shelves add resistance to chlorides and harsh chemicals. Tell us what the cart is exposed to and we will recommend one.
It depends on the cart. The 304 and 316 stainless carts, lab utility carts, and compact carts include casters. The glassware basket carts and 4-shelf HPLC models do not, so casters are chosen separately. We will list them on your quote.
The Type 304 and Type 316 stainless carts are described as cart-washable. For other carts, tell us your washing process and we will confirm fit before you order.
The compact carts here are specific configurations of drawers, shelves, and accessories on a 38, 50, or 62 inch frame. Send us how you plan to use it and we will confirm which configuration fits or quote a different one.
