These clamps lift and position steel plate in fabrication shops and steel service centers, handling a single plate vertically with improved control during overhead hoisting. A pivoting bale eases alignment and allows flexible lifting angles, automatic serrated hardened steel cams and pads grip the plate, and a drop-forged steel case provides strength. Built for clean, oil-free steel plate with surface hardness up to 30 RC (300 HB), the clamps comply with ASME B30.20. Working load limits span 1,000 to 6,600 lbs., with maximum plate thickness from about 0.59" to 1.19" depending on model. Unlike the Vertical Plate Clamps with Chain, these have no integrated chain, keeping them compact for direct hoist connection.
