Hydraulic Drum Crusher/Compactors flatten empty 55-gallon steel drums or compress their contents before disposal, delivering up to 38,000 lbs. of crushing force to reduce a drum to about 6" tall in roughly 25 seconds, with automatic return cycles. Steel construction in a blue finish includes interlocked doors, emergency stop buttons, pressure relief systems and integrated drip pans, available in 208V, 230V and 460V configurations with standard and high-cycle options plus optional wash-down motors or immersion heaters. Drums must be ribbed to crush properly; these units are not suitable for smooth-walled drums.
