High Strength Self-Dumping Steel Hoppers handle scrap and waste in machine shops, foundries and glass handling operations. The steel is rated 100,000 PSI yield and 110,000 PSI tensile (roughly triple the strength of standard 36,000 PSI hoppers) for better resistance to dropped metal, stone and glass. Welded construction gets a blue powder coating over a galvanized base. H-style models dump at 90 degrees by cable from the forklift seat and lock down automatically when lowered; D-style models add automatic bumper-release dumping plus a manual cable option. Units must be attached to the forklift during dumping and stacked no more than three high.
