Forktruck-Accessible Work Platforms, sometimes called man baskets or personnel cages, elevate workers for maintenance, repair, inspection, inventory, electrical, lighting, HVAC and general facility service. The platform attaches to forklift tines and is secured with tine locks and safety straps, and workers wear a harness with a lanyard clipped to a built-in anchor point. Steel construction includes handrails, midrails, toeboards and expanded metal backing; some models add a self-closing door or casters for repositioning when not in use. California OSHA-compliant 84"-rear-guard versions are available, along with harnesses, tool trays, emergency stop buttons and warning signs.
