These jacks lift and transport drums in warehouses, production areas, maintenance departments, chemical handling operations and shipping facilities, reducing manual effort and improving drum control. Grip mechanisms vary by model, whether top lip securing, saddle-based grappling or adjustable chime clamping, and some models hold drums vertically to minimize spillage risk with open containers. Steel construction on rolling casters maneuvers through tight aisles and work cells. Capacities span 500 to 900 lbs and fit 30-, 55- and 85-gallon drums depending on model, with lift heights from 5-1/4 to 23-5/8 inches. An optional built-in weighing scale is available (model DRUM-55-SCL-E), along with automatic clamping on certain models.
