These extensions add forklift reach so you can handle long or oversized loads that standard forks cannot fully support. Welded steel with a yellow baked-in powder coat finish: FE-4, FE-5 and FE-6 use cast steel tips, while FE-7 and FE-8 have tapered cut front ends. Maximum uniform capacity is 4,000 lbs per pair evenly distributed, for Class 2 and Class 3 forks only. OSHA rules limit extensions to 150% of existing fork length, so 48-inch forks accept up to 72-inch extensions. Installation is a pin mechanism, and warning and safety stickers are included.
