This press quickly and easily secures a cover onto a plastic pail using mechanical leverage: a 39-inch handle delivers a 14:1 mechanical advantage, turning 50 lbs of handle pressure into 700 lbs of closing force. It fits pails 6" to 22" tall, with a 16-inch compression plate and an adjustable burp plunger.
Steel frame construction with a powder coat finish includes a two-handle design and an adjustable-height table to fit various pail sizes, with the base pre-drilled for floor mounting. A manual version requires hand operation; the air-powered PLC-P-AIR variant eliminates manual compression effort via pneumatic actuation at 100 PSI. Not for use with UN-rated pails for hazardous material shipping.
