These chain hoists handle heavy lifting in environments where sparking poses a safety risk, using non-sparking brass construction with forged load hooks to prevent ignition hazards. A manual chain-operated system includes an automatic brake that engages as soon as the hand chain stops moving, allowing controlled load positioning without continuous operator effort.
Capacities range from 1,000 to 2,000 lbs with lift heights up to 10 feet, and a low gear ratio reduces the physical effort needed to lift. The hoists meet ANSI B30.16-2003 requirements, making them a fit for lifting tasks in explosive or hazardous atmospheres.
