This gate improves safety at mezzanine and railed openings by giving a controllable access point that transitions from open to closed with minimal effort. Its sliding design needs no extra headroom beyond the gate's own height, so it fits where a standard swing gate wouldn't, and it can be padlocked closed (padlock sold separately).
The featured model (MEZZ-SG-54) is steel with a yellow powder-coat finish, weighing about 146 lbs, with a 42-inch rail and 4-inch toe board for fall protection. Surface-mounted with pre-drilled holes, it's compatible with standard mezzanines and SQ rails, covering 54 inches of opening when closed (115-1/4" fully closed, 62-1/16" fully extended).
