Heavy-Duty Beam Tongs give a below-the-hook lifting solution for I-beams, using a scissor-style grip where the beam’s own weight helps hold it secure while the operator keeps the load centered and guided during the lift. Steel construction with a safety yellow powder-coat finish includes a 2-ton clevis attachment point. Working load limits span 2,000 to 6,000 lbs., accommodating beam widths of 6" to 10" with variable open and closed widths for flexibility. Manufactured to ASME B30.20 standards.
