Electric Powered Floor Cranes lift, transport, and position heavy loads with fully powered drive and lift, rather than the mechanical counterweights that Counter Balanced Floor Cranes use for stabilization. A 24V DC system gives infinitely adjustable forward and reverse travel speed, powered lift and lower, an emergency reverse function, and an electromagnetic dead-man brake that engages automatically when the handle is released. The steel frame rolls on poly-on-steel wheels, and capacities run from 1,600 lbs. on the low-profile unit to 2,500 lbs. retracted, decreasing as the boom extends. Onboard battery chargers and level indicators are standard; hand controls and AGM battery upgrades are optional.
