Edge guards protect cargo, straps and crates from damage in transit, with a different material for each handling scenario. Rubber guards (1/4 inch thick) adhere permanently to cargo straps and stay put even as the load shifts. Steel guards reinforce crates and protect chain and cargo straps against sharp or rugged edges. Plastic guards keep plastic strapping from cutting into cardboard cartons.
