The CCF Coil Lifter is a fork-mounted ram used to maneuver many types of coiled material with a fork truck. The Coil Lifter is offered in both fork-mount and carriage-mount versions; CCF models are the fork-mounted units.
Features
- Ram diameters of 4-1/2 in. or 5-5/8 in. to accommodate multiple core sizes and capacities
- Usable ram lengths from 24 in. to 60 in.
- Uniform capacities from 3,000 lb. to 5,500 lb. depending on model
- Fork pockets 7-1/2 in. wide x 2-1/2 in. tall (usable) on 24 in. centers
- Carriage-mounted units secure to the fork truck carriage with a spring-loaded lock pin
- Sturdy steel construction, painted blue
Applications
- Fork truck handling of coiled material
- Coil staging and placement in plants that run coiled stock
Never use this attachment where the load will exceed the fork truck manufacturer's load center rating. Each model's load center rating is shown on its engineering drawing.
