Catwalk & Crossover Platform Stairs

A prefabricated steel catwalk, crossover platform, and stair assembly used to give personnel safe elevated access over conveyors, tanks, pits, machinery, or other in-plant obstructions, or to move between mezzanine levels. Catwalk and crossover stair systems are built from bolted or welded structural framing with a grip-strut or perforated steel walking surface, OSHA-compliant guardrails, and toe boards, and they ship pre-engineered for bolt-together field assembly.

Choose a platform height (and matching stair count) sized to the equipment or level being crossed, a walkway width sized to expected foot traffic and any tool or cart clearance, and a handrail configuration -- single-side rail where one side runs along a wall or equipment, double-side rail where the walkway is exposed on both sides. Stair rise follows standard OSHA/ANSI increments of roughly 7 in per step with an 11 in tread depth, so step count scales directly with platform height.
