Industrial Handrail Provides Safety & Security
The System 22 Industrial HandRail from Deluxe Systems is a square steel railing solution designed to enhance safety across various facility areas. It installs easily with standard hand tools—no welding, cutting, or self-tapping screws required. Ideal for use in shipping zones, it helps protect personnel around dock height doors and defines aisleways to separate pedestrian traffic from forklift operations.
For elevated areas such as mezzanines, a 4″ high kick plate can be added to prevent items from falling. The system also supports the addition of hinged access doors, enabling controlled entry to secure areas or allowing product loading at upper levels. Door options include 3′-0″ wide single doors and double doors up to 8′-0″ wide.
SINGLE OR DOUBLE RAIL
Deluxe Systems offers two guardrail post heights to suit different protection needs: single rail posts measure 17″ high, while double rail posts provide extended coverage at 43″ high.
STANDARD SIZES
GuardRail rails are manufactured in standard lengths from 0′-8″ to 9′-8″, increasing in one-foot increments. This range allows for flexible layout options and precise alignment between posts to suit various facility configurations.

System 22 Industrial Handrail’s Easy Installation
The two-rail System 22 Industrial HandRail features a top rail at 42″ and a mid-rail positioned at 20″. All rails and 2″ square tubing uprights are pre-drilled for 3/8″ bolts and floor anchors, simplifying installation. Designed on 8′-0″ centers, standard rail lengths include 7′-6″, 3′-6″, and 1′-6″. Rail connectors are welded to the uprights for quick assembly using standard tools. Uprights serve as run, corner, or end posts, and handrail assembly drawings are included to assist with installation. For a complete standalone unit, two rails and two posts are required.
The Finished Look
System 22 Industrial HandRail features a high-visibility safety yellow powder coat finish. While primarily intended for indoor use, this durable coating also performs reliably in most outdoor environments.
