RackBack® pallet rack backing panels provide a durable steel mesh barrier that bolts directly to existing pallet rack uprights, protecting workers and equipment from falling items. These panels help maintain workplace safety by creating a secure containment system for stored materials.
RackBack® is designed to comply with OSHA 1910.28 regulations, which require employers to protect employees from fall and falling object hazards. RackBack® Pallet Rack Backing Specs
The RackBack® Pallet Rack Backing System is built from 2″ x 2″, 10 gauge welded wire mesh, secured within a 1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″, 13 gauge steel angle frame for added strength and durability.
Each panel includes predrilled mounting holes on 6″ centers and comes with either flush mount or offset brackets, accommodating pallet loads that extend beyond the rack beams. An “Above the Top” kit is available to extend panels above the top beam for added containment. Custom panel sizes can be provided to meet specific requirements, and most stock items ship within 48 hours of order placement.
